We mainly self cater and mainly hand wash so these things are important to me. No double sink and no designated area for the dish rack. The kitchenette is adequate but with very little bench space so a lot of food prep was done on the kitchen table. Everything is in shades of green with brown carpet and blonde wood furniture. Our one bedroom room was what we expected. The grounds are attractive and well kept. But the view along the walk is delightful. It’s a 20 to 30 min to walk into Torquay. There is free underground parking and you do need a car. AND as expected, the 45min “update” did indeed turn into a 2 hour sales pitch. We knew this was subtext for “we’re going to try and get you to become a full member”. Being experienced time share members in other companies, we knew that this was leading to an invitation to an “update” on what’s been happening since we joined. As it was our first time staying at a Wyndham, as a Discovery member, we were taken under Shohbit’s wing and given all sorts of goodies. From the staff who answer the phones to all the staff we have met at this resort, EVERYBODY has been so helpful and friendly.
